Dr. Frerking has lived in Tavares since 1971. He is married and has three children. He graduated from Tavares High School with high honors, Lake-Sumter Community College with high honors and attended the University of Central Florida. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated with highest honors. In 1988 he received his certification to practice acupuncture. In 1991 Dr. Frerking achieved Diplomate status in Diagnosis and Internal Disorders. Dr. Frerking received his degree as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.M.D.) in 2002 from St. Luke School of Medicine.

Dr. Frerking is an active member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, The International Board of Chiropractic Diagnosis and PReventative Medicine, The Florida Chiropractic Physicians Association, The Certified Nutritional Specialists Association, and the American Chiropractic Association Council on Diagnosis and Family Practice.
